Dr. Amy T. Parlo is a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Secondary Science Education program at Virginia Tech. Her research experiences include a focus on environmental education, inquiry and inquiry efficacy, professional development, mentoring, and alternative teacher licensure. As a veteran teacher of secondary science for over ten years in the metro Atlanta, Georgia (USA) area, Dr. Parlo instructs and supports the science methods courses and field experiences of VT's student teachers.
Dr. Parlo is serving as a program evaluator for the Mobile Malawi Project.
